Skibiking is a relatively minor sport when compared to skiing and snowboarding, so it's rare to see another skibiker on the same piste as yourself, and to find 3 of them, all with British riders onboard came as a bit of a suprise to us, but a welcome one though. The three lads in question all hail from Nottinghamshire, they are Sam,Dave and Rob and they were riding new Stalmach skibikes which they had hired from Jacek down in Saalfelden a town which is about 30/40 minutes down the valley from Saalbach/Hinterglemm. It is where he has his production company based and we have to say the skibikes looked rather good. We did not have the opportunety to ride one but we imagine they ride as good as they look! It would appear that if you hire skibikes from Stalmach they will for a fee, have them delivered to the resort for you, we are unsure if this just applies to the Saalbach/Hinterglemm region or all of Austria. It must be a consideration though if you prefer skibiking but without the hassle of transporting them to the resort from the UK.G&M
